I’m a mixed media artist living in Salem, Oregon. I work primarily in acrylic paint, plaster, and silk tissue, but love exploring new territories in art. I’m largely self-taught, and have been fortunate to have taken many workshops and classes from some wonderful teachers, notably Andie Thrams, Jef Gunn, Patricia Wheeler, Marilyn Krug, Deanna White, and Nancy Pobanz.

For the past two years, I’ve been studying privately with Andie Thrams, an amazing painter and book artist in Coloma, California. I met Andie when I took her class at Focus on Book Arts in 2008. I was instantly drawn to her gentle encouragement, soulful insights, and sense of humor. Our work together continues to evolve.
